Llanfynydd Show
The annual show will be held this Saturday (11/08/2012). Always an excellent event with lots to see and do. The weather looks like it is picking up too, so come along and enjoy the day!
Village Noticeboard
A village noticeboard has been constructed that is easily accessible, ventilated and in keeping with its surroundings. The noticeboard will, among other things, provide council meeting times. We thank Chris Papworth for his time and effort.
Community Website
A new Llanfynydd Community website has been developed to make it easier for people to engage with the village council.
YFC
Llanfynydd Young Farmers Club yet again excelled at the above county competition which was held at Nantgaredig. Junior Reading Competition – Llanfynydd 1st Gwenan Campbell, Nia Eyre and George David. History Book
Lyn Thomas (Centre) has produced an excellent and interesting book on the village which was published in December 2009. The book is fascinating for anyone who has any contact with the area with photographs and interviews as well as detailed historical text. The book is incredibly good value at £12.50
