Dryslwyn Castle Dryslwyn

Dryslwyn is a spectacular hilltop Welsh castle, sited on a rocky hill between Llandeilo and Carmarthen.

Overlooking the Tywi Valley. Built in about the 1220s by one of the princes of the kingdom of Deheubarth, and was a site of many feuds as it passed between English and Welsh ownership. It is historically very important as one of the most significant Welsh castles.
